Monica R. Parker, founder of LeavingTheLaw.com, is a trainer and consultant in the areas of negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution and a former practicing attorney.  She has served as a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School teaching the negotiation course for law students and as a member of the teaching team for the executive version of the course at the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School.  As a trainer, Monica has conducted negotiation and communication workshops for organizations ranging from corporations to non-profits to government agencies in the United States and abroad.  As a part of her consulting practice, Monica has worked with colleges, start-ups, and educational institutions. Monica earned a B.A. cum laude in English and American Literature from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
