Michael Blank
Michael Blank is an Associate at Insight Partners and Insight Collaborative, where he focuses primarily on negotiation and effective communication training for corporate clients around the world. His other facilitation work includes skills training in academic contexts, having served as a trainer for the Negotiation Workshop at Harvard Law School, the Effective Communication Workshop at the University of Massachusetts and other university sponsored events. Mr. Blank also provides consulting services such as diagnostics and problem-solving for under-performing groups. He is particularly interested in multi-party dispute resolution and recently worked with Council Member Daniel Garodnick of the 4th District of New York City to devise a conflict assessment for an ongoing, decade-long dispute over the development of one of the City's most important pieces of undeveloped real estate. Prior to law school, Mr. Blank was an Analyst in the leveraged finance group at Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York, where he performed financial modeling and analysis that helped to provide mid- to large-cap companies such as Nextel Communications, Alaris Medical Systems and DRS Technologies with high yield debt for acquisition financing and refinancing purposes. Mr. Blank earned his B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
